Dr. Broder received her Psy.D. in clinical psychology from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, where her research focused on obesity, the bariatric population, and weight loss. During this time, she was teaching assistant to Arthur Freeman, Ed.D. and managed various training programs. Dr. Broder completed her clinical training at the Philadelphia VA Medical Center, and post-doctoral fellowship at the Beck Institute. She is a Diplomate of the Association for Cognitive Therapy, and a board member of an Integrated Health committee of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. Currently, Dr. Broder provides cognitive behavior therapy for adults and adolescents with diverse presenting problems. She is also an instructor at the Beck Institute workshops and conducts consultation for therapists and community organizations interested in improving their skills in cognitive behavior therapy. Dr. Broder will be teaching the CBT for Depression workshop in Nashville December 2016 and frequently lectures on depression, anxiety, and eating disorders.
