Core Curriculum
The Core Curriculum has been developed to meet the needs of clinicians who are eager to implement empirically-supported CBT treatment into their practice and/or organization. The Core Curriculum is designed to raise the competency levels of clinicians at all levels of experience (beginner to advanced) by providing training in the essential competencies and protocols that cross diagnostic categories. Workshop participants engage in experiential exercises, master new techniques, and are able to immediately integrate new skills and effective strategies into practice.
The Core Curriculum is a series of three, 3-day workshops. These workshops cover fundamental to advanced skills and knowledge, and therefore, we recommend (but do not require) participants to attend the Core Curriculum workshops in sequential order (Core 1, Core 2, Core 3). The Core Curriculum Series is also offered through our Customized Training Program. Participants earn 18 CE/CME credits at CBT Workshops at Beck Institute.
Specialty Workshops
Specialty Workshops are designed for professionals who desire specialized CBT training in the treatment of specific disorders and/or particular populations. Taught by Beck Institute’s team of leading researchers and clinicians, these workshops provide the intermediate to advanced therapist with up-to-date, empirically supported CBT treatment strategies for specific disorders and or particular populations. Specialty Workshops are also offered through our Customized Training Program.
