Beck Institute offers a full range of training in cognitive behavior therapy to meet the needs of therapists with modest to significant exposure to CBT. The Core Curriculum builds the basic and essential skills and competencies for effective treatment for a range of psychiatric disorders and problems. Specialty Workshops offer concentrated, intensive training in the treatment of specific disorders and/or populations. The Supervision Program provides the individual therapist (or small group of therapists) with tailored case consultation from Beck Institute Faculty via Skype or other electronic means to further enhance participants’ knowledge and skills.
Core Curriculum and Specialty Workshops are offered throughout the year at Beck Institute in suburban Philadelphia. Through our Customized Training Program, organizations can request similar or modified curriculum to be delivered by Beck Institute faculty at their locations. After completing one 3-day workshop (Core Curriculum or Specialty, on-site at Beck Institute or through the Customized Training Program), participants are eligible to apply for the Supervision Program. Congruent with our mission, training at Beck Institute aims to further disseminate CBT throughout the world through the provision of professional training.
