    Cognitive Behavior Therapy Workshop Description
This educational opportunity, better suited to the schedules of some professionals than the Extramural Training, is the more flexible, short-term Cognitive Behavior Therapy Workshop (see schedule above). Applicants must hold at least a Master's degree in a mental health, medical, or related field. Trainees range from those with modest prior exposure to cognitive therapy to those with a high degree of expertise. They come from many states and countries, providing enrichment in the activities outlined below. Trainees typically spend their time attending training sessions, viewing videotapes of patient sessions and/or teaching seminars, participating in case discussions, and watching live patient sessions (when available) on our closed-circuit television.

Please note that training focuses on therapy of adults and older adolescents. A special feature is a case conference (including a live patient interview ) with Dr. Aaron Beck, followed by a question and answer session with him.
