Extramural Training Programs



Extramural Program for Therapists & Supervisors (U.S. & Canada)
Our basic Extramural Training Program, for those in the U.S. and Canada, provides individualized, intensive Cognitive Therapy training with weekly phone supervision and occasional workshops on site at Beck Institute in suburban Philadelphia. Extramural Program for Overseas Trainees
This Extramural Program is designed for overseas trainees, and includes bi-weekly phone or email supervision and occasional on-site workshops (if travel is a hardship, please contact us). Continue to the complete program description.


Extramural Program for Residency Training Directors & Supervisors
This Extramural Program provides Cognitive Therapy training for Residency Training Directors and Supervisors, followed by supervision in training psychiatry residents.


Community Mental Health Center (CMHC) Cognitive Therapy Training Program
Designed for Community Mental Health Center staff, this program provides individualized Cognitive Therapy supervision and is less rigorous than the Extramural Training Program.
